Bag Quality Checklist
A useful bag quality check looks at the details that are hardest to hide in close-up photos. Use this when reviewing product photos, QC photos, or private sourcing options.

Core construction points
- Stitching should be even around straight panels and curved corners.
- Handle bases should look symmetrical and securely attached.
- Edge paint should be smooth, consistent, and free of obvious cracking.
- Hardware should be aligned, cleanly finished, and consistent in tone.
- Zippers, clasps, and chains should sit straight and open smoothly.
- Corners should hold shape without uneven bulging or loose finish.
- Lining should be clean, fitted, and free of obvious puckering.
- Structure should match the intended use: soft, semi-structured, or rigid.
Photos to ask for
Ask for front, back, side, bottom, and interior views. Add close-ups of handles, corners, zipper ends, clasps, and chain attachments. When color accuracy matters, request a natural-light photo rather than relying only on studio lighting.
