QC Album Photo Requests That Actually Help

A QC album should answer practical questions. Many albums look full because they have many images, but they still miss the views that help a buyer make a calm decision.

The sampled albums had useful details such as dimensions, material descriptions, hardware notes, and carry-style descriptions. They also showed why a buyer should request direct photos instead of relying only on styled images or short promotional text.

What the sampled albums showed

The mini satchel-style listing gave a compact size and mentioned an adjustable strap. That tells us to ask for shoulder and crossbody reference views, not only a front photo.

The flat pouch listing gave a larger size and interior-use claims. That tells us to ask for the zipper opening, inside sections, and a side profile. The WOC-style listings gave slim dimensions, which makes interior opening and phone fit more important than exterior width.

Ask for missing views by purpose

A useful request is specific. Instead of asking for “more pictures,” ask for the exact view that answers a concern.

  • Shape concern: ask for straight front, back, both sides, and base.
  • Capacity concern: ask for interior fully open and one photo with daily items nearby.
  • Carry concern: ask for strap drop, shoulder view, or crossbody view.
  • Finish concern: ask for corners, zipper ends, edge paint, chain anchors, and handle bases.

Match the request to the bag type

The best photo request depends on the shape in front of you.

  • For WOC-style bags, ask for card slots, main compartment depth, and chain tucked or extended.
  • For drawstring minis, ask for open and closed top views.
  • For pouches, ask for zipper track, interior sections, and flat side profile.
  • For quilted chain bags, ask for front alignment, flap edge, and chain attachment.

Keep the message short

Long requests get messy. A five-line request usually works better.

  • Start with the two missing full views.
  • Add one interior or capacity request.
  • Add one close-up request for the most important wear point.
  • Ask for natural light only if color or hardware tone matters.

Questions worth asking before you decide

  • Can you send a straight front and side photo on a flat surface?
  • Can you show the interior fully open?
  • Can you show the strap or chain length as it would be worn?
  • Can you send close-ups of the corners, zipper ends, and chain or strap anchors?
